About me
It all started in December of 2000, Christmas Eve.
I'd always wanted to play music, so my mother bought me a blue Mark 2 electric guitar
for Christmas. It was/is the shittiest guitar I've ever played, but it's what started a love that will never die. Me and music.
Hand in hand.
I started off playing old Van Morrison songs which I don't even remember how to play now.
But it is those songs that I hold closets to my heart.
As my guitarplaying got better, so did my voice. I'd finally gotten good and singing and
playing at the same time. The first song I'd ever learned to sing and play at the same time was "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison,
one of the greatest songs ever written.
I joined a band called Disposable Heroes(Paul Ritchie lead guitar, Cole Eagle rhythm guitar, Josh
Stolley drums) in November of 2001 as the lead singer. We were a metallica-ish sort of band, but more vocal melody. We
played 1213 once, and Cave9 twice. I was a nervous wreck all 3 times. The one time we played 1213, I had broncitis and sounded
like shit, but we made it through the set.
My second band, which never really got off the ground was called "The Taste Test Scandal".
We practiced in Munford in the bassist, Cody Cockrell's, storm shelter. I sang lead and played rhythm guitar in that band.
It was the first time I'd ever played with Casey Rosamond(ex PS-51, Awkward Sundays, Isaiah Evans Project).
Casey and I still play together. We are working on an acoustic project, as well as starting
a full band. He and I mesh perfectly and I believe we will forever play together and someday make a huge impact on the
rock world.
I am now working on a solo project, which is why this site was built. I will have MP3's
on this site soon.
